"Promises always form networks, thus they describe structure without even trying." #readingToday

Promises always form networks, thus they describe structure without even trying. This is interesting, because much of the writing about business on the structural side was about the necessity of building command hierarchies 229 . Whether promise structure is physical, inter-personal , conceptual or relational is unimportant. To a scientist or engineer, the only goal is to understand the parts of the system, irrespective of whether a function is performed by human or by machine. Often promises can be made in the form of templates and reusable patterns.
