"What differentiates Simondon from Bateson..." - #readingToday

What differentiates Simondon from Bateson himself is that Simondon never lets the touch of mentality hypostasize into a 'Mind' that is one with Nature. There is no 'Mind' immanent to Simondon's Nature – only form-taking informational activity (with as yet – that is to say, until its own future occurs to it – no content, no structure, no meaning). There is no 'one' but always a one moreness: a 'more-than-one', everywhere energetically in potential.
