"" [L]ogic lies at the interface between the dynamics of messages and the semantics of messages." #readingToday

Logical reasoning is a kind of rational story telling, or narrative that we find plausible or satisfying. It comes in many forms, and it has a reputation for being a kind of pure form of thought, but we should be careful in drawing that conclusion. Stories can, in some cases, be proven true of false, offering the illusion of certainty, but it is important to shatter the myth that logic represents certainty. In a sense, logic lies at the interface between the dynamics of messages and the semantics of messages . It is a centrally important topic, but it is as much the source of our problems as it is a tool for solving them.
